Actor Jeremy Renner will host a Celebrity Poker Showdown in Las Vegas this month as part of a "Heroes Fore Kids" Charity Weekend. You can win a ticket to the celebrity charity tournament by playing in an upcoming PokerNewsMeet-Up Game at Resorts World Las Vegas.

The charity weekend runs Oct. 19-20 and will benefit the RennerVation Foundation, a non-profit that the Avengersstar started in 2023 to serve northern Nevada's disadvantaged youth. The weekend kicks off with the $300 buy-in Celebrity Poker Showdown on Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. local time, followed by a celebrity golf tournament on Oct. 20.

Celebrities taking part in the charity weekend activities include actors Rob Riggle, Michael Chiklis, Mekhi Phifer and Richard Kind, boxer Sugar Ray Leonard and influencer Jimmy Darts.

The weekend will wrap up with an All-Star Concert at Brooklyn Bowl headlined by rock legends like Bush's Gavin Rossdale and Cheap Trick's Robin Zander and bestselling singer Robin Thicke.

Win a Ticket to Jeremy Renner's Poker Tournament

In partnership with the RennerVation Foundation, PokerNewswill be giving away a ticket to Celebrity Poker Showdown at an upcoming Podcast Meet-Up Game at Resorts World Las Vegas on Oct. 12. The meet-up game includes a $200 buy-in no-limit Hold'em tournament, the winner of which will win the Celebrity Poker Showdown ticket.

The meet-up game, which will be attended by the hosts of the PokerNewsPodcast and Life Outside Poker, will also feature both Hold'em and Omaha cash game tables at $1/$3 and $2/$5 limits.

The podcast hosts will be promoting a $10,000 Gold Pass giveaway to PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas, which players can get more information about at the meet-up game.

What is the RennerVation Foundation?

Renner, an award-winning actor who has stared in films like The Hurt Locker, Dahmerand American Hustle, started the RennerVation Foundation after a near-fatal car accident in northern Nevada in January 2023.
