The fundamental goal is to combine your cards into legitimate combinations before your rivals do. The game can be played by two or more players using a standard 52-card degame earning appck. A certain number of cards are dealt to each player, and the remaining cards make up the draw pile. While discarding unwanted cards and trying to form valid combinations, players alternately draw from the draw or discard pile. When a player declares "Rummy" and wins the round by successfully melding all of their cards, the game is over.
