Players must create valid runs (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) or sets (three or four cards of the same rank) in order to achieve the simple goal. After a rummy nawabpredetermined number of cards are dealt to each player, the remaining cards are arranged in a draw pile, with one card facing up to begin the discard pile. Until a player successfully melds all of their cards, players alternately draw from either pile and discard a card. Players who want to succeed in Classic Rummy must create winning strategies.
