In an attempt to combine their hands into legitimate combinations before their rivals do, players alternately draw & discard cards. Usually, a predetermined number of cards are dealt to rummy joueach player at the start of the game, and the remaining cards are arranged face down in a draw pile. Depending on the game mode they choose, players in Rummy Noble may also need to be aware of certain variations. For example, players may have to declare their melds before laying them down in certain versions, but they can do so at any time during their turn in others.
