Creating legitimate sets and sequences by combining the cards in your hand is the goal. A sequence is composed of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, whereas a set is composedrummy ares.com of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. Players alternately draw cards from the discard pile or the stockpile, then discard one card from their hand. The round is won when one player declares "Rummy" after successfully melding all of their cards.
